EU Funding for Africa, Opportunities for Greek Enterprises and

the Role of the European Business Council for Africa (EBCAM)”

The videoconference will be a first-class opportunity to highlight the role of the European  Business  Council for Africa (EBCAM) regarding opportunities  for greek enterprises interested in trade and investment in Sub – Saharan Africa as well as the European Funding for Africa and the recent developments on the subject of Economic Partnership Agreements ( EPAs). 

The European Business Council for Africa (EBCAM) in which the Hellenic African Chamber of Commerce is a member constitutes a confederation  of European national chambers for Africa.  Based in Brussels, represent through its 12 members,  around 4,000 European companies  active in investments  and trade with African countries,  thus  contributing,  to the sustainable  development of the region  by offering  know-how, services, products  and structures. . It participates in European-African fora facilitating cooperation  between  its  members, also business  missions of Europeans in  Africa.

EBCAM,  through a series of actions and activities  of its members  is in an open dialog with the European  Union services in order to promote positions and requests of the private sector and problems it faces such as obstruction of the bureaucratic system, difficulties in financing and loans, delays in visas and unfair competitions that it faces from third countries.  Through weekly newsletters, provision of

useful information and analyses other developments in African countries. EBCAM, organizes also,   teleconferences and meetings, and improves channels of communication between the two continents. 

 The conference can be attended by members and non-members of our Chamber. Those interested are invited to fill out the form for their participation in order to receive the passwords to the videoconference (via zoom).
